Why become a Jazzgroove Member?
The majority of current Jazzgroove Members are local jazz musicians who wish to support and be part of the local Jazz and improvised music scene. Jazzgroove is run by musicians, for musicians.
Jazzgroove is thankfully supported by a growing number of people who appreciate creative music and join Jazzgroove to show their support for the artists, the association and to benefit from all the great discounts joining Jazzgroove offers! There are not many gigs you can get into for $8 in Sydney, especially gigs of the standard of a Jazzgroove gig or music heard on the Jazzgroove Records label. Plus when you're a Jazzgroove Member there's great discounts to be had around town: discounted entry to SIMA, places + spaces, Jazz Action Society and from our many new sponsors. Last but not least, there's that warm, glowing feeling you get inside when you support a musician for around 10 cents a day!
Membership runs for a calender year and is $40

Like many not-for-profit organisations, Jazzgroove doesn't run purely on goodwill. Jazzgroove gratefully receives a small portion (30% or less) of it's funding from government bodies such as The Australia Council and Arts NSW. Membership fees received throughout the year go back directly into running the organisation.
